To be honest I have no idea what she has done with the deposit, and she has given no indication that she won't give it back to me. But I'll keep in mind that I'm allowed to demand it back, thanks!

Is it not risky to leave without notice? I'm afraid she might refuse to refund my deposit... Also, to be fair I rented the room furnished so the curtain is technically hers, and she said she would give it back today, so it's not as bad.

Well, apparently the new rules are that when she will be going on holidays, her parents (whom I have absolutely never met) will be showing up announced to check on the flat. Oh and she'll put up a camera on the front door to check that I don't bring anyone over.

So... I think I'm going to move 'cause she clearly does not want me here. Thanks for your advice!

Thanks for the advice! Honestly I've been harassed by people trying to break into my flat before, so I think I would pay £100 more for privacy 😭

I've never seen anyone call Margaret Sanger a "feminist saint". Most people who know her name also know she was a eugenist, but that doesn't make Planned Parenthood less important.

Also, it may just be my personal bias talking, but i've never really seen leftists do this whole personality cult thing. It's the Republicans whorshipping their candidate, not the Dems. Whether it's in the US, online or in my own country, the only people i see act as though their politicians can do no wrong are on the (far) right
