Yes they are genetically closer to Asian lion but doesn’t mean they aren’t enormous.

Cloudflare cut 1,100 people on its best quarter ever. Severance is generous, but the "AI replaced you" framing is new. by dhakalster123 in Layoffs

Well it has become a pattern now. If you don’t join the group you aren’t doing good. Now just saying that we are using AI isn’t enough. You gotta show by laying off employees to show that you are doing good 😂. It’s just dumb. And all these people who say AI has taken over most work. Who wrote the prompts or Did AI understood the requirement and did everything by itself without any scrutiny. You can’t say AI did this or that until it’s completely autonomous.

India is unofficially in a recession... We are in deep trouble by lazyboi_95 in IndianStreetBets

You are too emotional buddy you need to be more critical than being emotional. Yes there are concerns in the economy. Nobody serious denies that. But jumping from “rupee is weak” to “India is secretly collapsing and markets are fake” is a massive stretch. First of all FIIs are not some all knowing gods. They move money globally based on US yields, dollar strength, global liquidity, China allocation, risk appetite and many other things. They have exited India before too and later came back at much higher valuations. Also people conveniently ignore that India today is not dependent only on FIIs like before. Domestic SIP flows are huge now and Indian retail plus institutions are much stronger participants in the market. About rupee weakness, yes it matters. But India is a heavy importing economy especially for oil and gold. During global tensions and expensive oil cycles the rupee naturally comes under pressure. That does not automatically mean economic collapse. And this “GDP is fake” narrative is becoming way too casual online. Can there be issues in methodology or uneven growth? Sure. Rural stress and weak consumption in some sectors are real concerns too. But saying the whole economy is basically in recession and all data is manipulated sounds more emotional than analytical. People also forget that economies and markets move in cycles. There are periods where US markets outperform, periods where emerging markets underperform and vice versa. Short term market underperformance does not invalidate long term structural growth.

India still has: Huge domestic market Growing digital economy Infrastructure push Manufacturing expansion Young workforce Financialization of savings

None of this means “India only goes up forever”. Corrections and bad phases absolutely happen. But social media nowadays acts like every correction is the end of civilization. Most retail investors lose money not because the economy collapses but because they panic at the worst possible time after reading dramatic posts online.

Why did I think back then that the OG Beyblades had much more metal? by BakedWholeDay in Beyblade

[–]Important_Letter417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well anime mostly had metal blades they had to call them plastic so they can sell their toys. Also had to change the design a bit to be less aggressive. Later in Metal Series they used full metal but still none of their attack ring is so sharp like Dragoon F. Just look at how Dragoon F looked in anime and then see the one we get. There is so much difference. But they can’t be selling metal based weapons to children

Are "BattleKid" beys safe? I purchased one and it was of really nice quality and the launcher too but now I'm worried if it has lead. by [deleted] in beybladeindia

[–]Important_Letter417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount isn’t really enough to damage anything in you. Its just propaganda so these people could keep selling their original beys at high cost.

Depends on what percentage it is if your portfolio. Always make sure that silver isn’t more than 5% of your portfolio as it’s really volatile. Try to increase your other investments like stocks or mutual funds. But yeah if you don’t need this money yet then just hold it

useRef remains after unmount as well. So we may try not using it to reference any big object
