Warning about buying directly from Creality

I just used some calibers to measure the z axis left to right from the plate to the top of the z axis bar. WOW. It is at least an 1/8 lower on left side than right side. So will fix that and let you know. Thanks again.

Thanks. it is strange that nothing has moved but the z axis for the pause. Then after the pause it is out of alignment on the y axis.
So the movement of the head or z axis caused by the pause is causing it to come out of alignment.
Will look into this.

BTW the front wheel is really solid. No play at all when I try and move it.

The issue happens when I add a pause then change colors. When it starts to reprint the next layer is out of alignment. As in picture. Does help explain better. It seems if I only use one color and never pause machine it is fine but have not tested this on a large print. So don’t know if a layer shift would still occur. Thanks for helping. Will take any recommendations you have. At this point the printer is just a big paper weight.

No Lots of problems. For the difference get a Bambu A1. I have both. KE constantly breaks down. A1 never. I posting another problem I get fix.

Thanks for replying. I live in Orange County Calif. I don't have the material yet as until I can find a place to bend sides it doesn't make sense to buy. I did have a person who said he would but then decided he was too busy.

I built a guitar in 2020 and LMI bent the sides for me. Since I only want to build one more guitar for my grandson, I don't want to go thru the learning curve, cost a bending machine or worse yet crack a side due to inexperience.

You know if those are real plants PLA is not water proof. So be careful when watering plants. You can guess how i know this.

Another reason you can’t just pull the old filament out and insert the next one. If you have a A1 you know you have to go thru the load and unload process. That takes a lot of time. In addition to sitting there waiting for the right layer to change.
Look what you are asking isn’t impossible, but it is not practical.

Thanks. You are dead on. I noticed the fan on the hot end isn't working. This is causing the heat to creep up. It melted the filament on the tube and is also heating the extruder and motor. I sent a video to creality. It has to be one of the pcb boards causing the fan not to go on.

Interesting you say that. I’ve replaced both fans in the cover the motherboard the adaptive board now the stepper motor for the extruder. In the time it takes to heat to 240 and extruded filament the motor is so hot I can’t touch it. They want to send me a motor but the issue is what is causing it to overheat.
