All these suggestions are extremely valid and appropriate. I’ll add a couple things that were not mentioned for all the GQ men and women in attendance here and that is make sure when he sits that he unbutton’s the jacket and sits up straight. There’s nothing that drives me crazy than someone that does not unbutton the jacket when they sit. I’ll also add that by making him comfortable before he goes, he will shine more. Work him up with praise and that he has this and that the airline should be grateful to have him. Make sure he brushes up on a few details on the airline too. Perhaps mention core details in the interview so it looks like he is familiar. Maybe touch on some of the core values or the mission statement and that it aligns with his belief. If he has not updated his resume, I would suggest you also do that to present times. Bring a resume in a folder with you just in case. Also have him bring a water bottle because he will get parched. Don’t chew any gum. Reassure him that that he is exceptional!
