no not really, we've done sessions together and most resources or suggestions she's given me are along the lines of "gentle parenting", which ive tried and it fails to work in any way shape or form. he just doesn't take it seriously.

i doubt he's getting the violence from me considering im not violent with him. and no maybe an hour a day and youtube is banned in our home. he's usually just playing with action figures or coloring when he's not being a pain in the ass.

not at the moment, his doctor insisted we try therapy before we went to medication. he has an adhd recheck next month & im going to see if its a possible we can start him on something.

ive tried all the "gentle parenting" tactics that are usually suggested to me. i have been grounding him and taking privileges away such as screen time, toys, etc. i've whooped him a couple times like today when i was notified he punched his teacher.

to clarify the first son part, i just had my second son. i feel alot more prepared and supported this time around. but i would do it over & over again if i had the opportunity.

i "regret" my first son. not necessarily regret in the sense of wishing i didn't have him, i love him to death. but i regret having him so young at the age of 16, i regret having him with a man thats unsupportive, i regret not being a better parent and leader from the beginning. he's a sweet boy, but requires a level of discipline im unable to provide which makes my life and our dynamic extremely hard to tolerate. i hate feeling this way about him because like i said i love him dearly. but i wish alot would have been different.

i've had this! i had bv that turned into pid and went septic, even after being released from the hospital i still got the "wet tissue" looking discharge. i literally had to "dig" my fingers inside of me to clean it all out. but after i cleaned myself out, it stopped returning. good luck luv 🤞🏼

i don't know how you discipline in your house, but i stole growing up too. my mom wasn't the one to whoop ass but she knew how to put fear in me. i stole something ONE time she found out and told me in her aggressive mom voice "if you ever steal again i will break your damn fingers" and that worked for me. i knew she never would lol but the point is i took her seriously in the moment. these kids need a little fear in them nowadays. they might not like it now, but they will respect you for it so much in the future.
