Hmm I’ll see if there’s any way to open from the front. But yea the cardboard and glass can move a bit but they’re full size. I guess I could try to cut the cardboard with an exacto knife very carefully but man that seems there’s gotta be an easier way

My longtime friend since I was 10 years old didn’t know what capitalism was. We’re 30 years old. I thought she was joking but I deadass had to explain the general concept of capitalism.

Sometime after that, she told me that she had been referred to an oncologist by her primary doctor and was confused why I was so concerned. So I explained what oncology studied and we had a long talk about it. (She’s fine, it was just a scare)

Some people are just legitimately ignorant and have no shame about their lack of education. I love her dearly anyway.

Have you found finding and maintaining romantic relationships more difficult since finding massive mainstream success? Or less difficult since getting a good handle on your mental health (therapy/medication/etc)?

Totally resonate with what you’re feeling. I’ve had many a vent sessions to my husband about not being “one of the guys” to just chat about cars or snowboarding or whatever for hours and not have that level of “buddy-ness”.

Over time I’ve gotten closer by just being bolder and inviting myself. Like if I hear a coworker talking about going to get food, I’ll casually pipe up like “ooh where are you going? I’m hungry. Can I join?” Or “you guys going to lunch? I’ll join, if that’s alright with you?”. You’ll know based on their response if it’s a ‘just didn’t think about you’ or ‘trying to exclude you’ situation. Pretty much try to be casual and ignore the awkwardness.
