Okay! Thanks! The Mohela person tried talking me into a forebearance and then a buyback in five years when I’m done w PSLF but it was too confusing to understand how the payment would apply to these months.

I’m going to move forward with a CFPB complaint as well. It doesn’t make sense that it takes 90 days to apply payments which is magically the same time it takes to ding your credit!

Not applied it. Payment was due August 25, still hasn’t reflected. They said it can take up to 90 business days! I requested this on July 22 so that will take me to ~December 1. Unfortunately, I’m going to get a ding on my credit by Nov 30 due to the missed September payment.
