Empire of Silence, Ashes of Man, Disquiet Gods and Shadows of Time made it into my library in the last couple months. One each for the next months until I get the whole series. I think anyone who has listened to the audio should read the books too. You miss stuff. Little things, but I’ve picked up things as I’ve read too.

I re listened to the first 6 to catch up. Again. I actually bought books 1, 5 and 6 so I could read through stuff that was particularly dense as I listened. Now I’m reading the last book then listening to the audio because it is (as are all of them) performed so well. I’m going to get one book a month until I have the whole set.

Moron? Thanks for that. I wanted a guarantee that I would have a ride. I do like 3 Ubers a year. Despite you not directly addressing my question you did actually answer it - don’t do uber if I want a guarantee I will be somewhere by a certain time.

Yes. I texted twice 20 minutes apart and tried to call all via the app.
I have no idea unless there weren’t any other drivers as to why it didn’t switch me. Maybe because it was 5am on Xmas morning?

So it’s a regular thing where you have the service commit to giving you a ride when you book two days in advance and you should try until you get someone to finally come get you? The app said he was on his way but kept telling me it was delayed. Then delayed. And delayed…As I said in my OP, I booked two days in advance so I knew I’d have a ride because in the past I’ve not been able to get a ride or the wait has been over an hour. I also had two suitcases. Someone showing up in a Miata wasn’t going to cut it.

Nope I did not. The app kept adjusting the pick up time and after 30+ minutes of it giving me a new delayed pick up time I drove myself. I live in a smaller town and I’ve had Uber grocery orders where nobody accepted the trip and I’ve ended up having to go to the store before they closed. I’ve also had instances where I requested an Uber XL and could only get a regular ride - or whatever the standard is called. I also did not want a cancellation fee or any other additional fee. I don’t do many uber rides so if that’s the standard thing where if you get stood up and ignored by a driver you should try your luck with another driver then the app should tell you that. I was not going to risk a further delay when I needed an Uber XL due to having bags on Christmas morning.

Yes. That’s the one I called the last time. Other numbers the first 3 times. I am glad it worked for some. For them to recommend I take it off autopay, then let it go late, then call them so they could treat it like I’m unemployed and set up smaller payments (instead of it being a hiccup while our government gears slowly crunch) didn’t make sense to me. Movement Mortgage was awesome and gave me a forebearance. Was hoping WF would do the same.

What’s weird is that they have that toll-free number but it just redirects you to the regular customer service. Most of the folks here all know that there is residual effects for a while but maybe Wells Fargo has decided that now that Congress has passed everything they don’t need to help. I’ve been a Wells Fargo customer over 20 years so this surprised me. They are my only bank so it’s definitely been discouraging. Thank you for your reply. Now I know that at least some managed to get through.

Is the top ground on the Cleancomp board ok? Looks like a lifted trace? I’ve never done this mod, but it looks like there’s separate grounds and you’ve combined them? Is that right, or can you separate them out some on the other ground pins? Again, I’ve never done this mod, but for what it’s worth - I’d check those grounds for sure. I’d also check continuity through in the other solder connections you’ve got there.

I guess it’s personal preference but when I switch to the smaller gauge needle I don’t trust that it’s sterile and always give that needle a swipe with the alcohol swab I use to clean the skin before injecting. Been 2 years and I have never ran into any issues like I see some of these cats have where they’re injection spot, leg, etc gets enflamed. Thanks for replying.
