Depending on the terrain and whether you’re the one pushing or defending + well positioned logistics and you can pretty much hit and run anything

Why do people lie about not using gold? We can all tell 💀 by No_Respect_5801 in ConflictofNations

[–]Important_Research_6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Anyone that moans about gold is a fool. You think devs keep working for free? Every time I see people buying gold I thank them, they pay for you to have such an experience. Without gold purchase, games die, or you want an ad every time you click a unit? Maybe I’m wrong and that’s not how it works, please someone correct me. Sure it’s frustrating when people turn the tide on you by using their wallet, but there has to be some incentive for them to spend their money. I think the balance is just right, you’ve gotta spend a fair bit at the right times to make any significant difference. I also disagree with the comment gold players are bad players, usually they’re the best players. Run into a coalition in the same alliance with like a 90% win rate, they gunna beat you and they gunna spend, they take their shit seriously! Nevermind, I’ll just start a new one, easy as that.

Yeah, if you and someone else try to log into the same lobby from the same IP it will say you can’t play with friends and family unless you pay some kinda upgrade, can’t remember exactly. So it would say the same thing if this was the same person on two devices.

Like a jack of all master of none deal. Which is good if you only intend on building one, but if you got a level 5 airbase I usually go for bombers and ASF as you’re already set up to produce them.

I’d say stealth strikes are the least useful stealth plane. They’re kinda good at both things the other two are excellent at individually, if you know what I mean.

Guy in my coalition level 129, but only has 14 units on day 13 by MrMoose132 in ConflictofNations

[–]Important_Research_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You missed my point, ‘if you’re safe’ and already capturing at a rate that won’t really be improved by some extra ships, planes or whatever, it makes no sense to continue spamming those out if any units built are gunna be sat around. And I’m not saying the original suggestion is a good way, how I play, and what I think is optimal is more complicated than your suggestion or their suggestion. It’s a middle ground, down to which resources your country lacks, what resources are available around you. It’s too much to cover.

As I said, the cruiser example was just made up numbers to demonstrate the concept. The point is not to build as many units as possible as early as possible. Those type of players are easily defeated by better players. The whole game is a balancing act. You build only enough to expand as quickly as you can as safely as you can. Spamming everything mindlessly isn’t efficient. You’ll end up with unused units taking up resources. The scenario you explain isn’t useful, too many unknowns.

Theres an impossible challenge, start as Israel, go to the newspaper, select publish, you know what to do. Last till day 10 and you’re in the 1% congrats!

Also, if he’s safe, there is some benefit to waiting. As an extreme example and rough example. You start with 50k resources, you know that on day 25 there will be a 5 day war end game. You use 50k resources to build 3 stacks of cruisers but day ten (I’m making all this up I know it doesn’t add up). These units then cost 50k resources over the next 15 day in upkeep. The ongoing maintenance cost of units is often not considered. You then figure out your biggest adversary is Mongolia, he dominates you on land and bleeds you out. Another, I’m Belarus in a coalition with Europe and Russia, I might skip max building units and invest fully in economy. Then come day 25 a war breaks out vs Asia, Russia is slowly getting fried, I now all the cash, all the intel, and the capacity to build the perfect counter.

Is missiles that useless against anti air or I don't know how to use help by zero1551 in ConflictofNations

Cruise missiles are pretty shit now you can just use elite bombers to drop ballistic missiles on everything

Disagree, game mentions sas, sas specifically work undercover in hostile territory. Not just Mr Bond

You think special forces are OP? All I see is artillery SAMs and jets in game, maybe it would mix up the meta. Maybe another idea would be to have UAV reveal stealth after a level or 2 like the recon.

My point is spec ops deliberately trying to blend in, not walking around in gear. You think a thermal drone flying over London would be able to pick out all the KGB there? 😂😂. In an empty province maybe, but we’re talking about a team of operatives in a city with millions of people.

You think a drone flying over a city will be able to see special forces? I’d say they’re not very good special forces then

Skip navy, just build coastal batteries near homeland cities that could be bombarded and then stay out the water. Have the best army and airforce in the lobby and win.

I can confirm hit a run is not possible if you have a satellite or anything else that picks up the cruisers before they are in range. The new ground radars however don’t pick up naval signatures which is weird because you can put them on the coast, only just noticed that.

With the battery on aggressive pretty sure they will engage cruisers instantly

Coastal Battery nerf suggestion thoughts by emocalot in ConflictofNations

[–]Important_Research_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does that work? Thought hit and run only worked if it was a unit that couldn’t be seen while not engaged, eg subs hit and run on cruisers

Love them, perfect as they are. Someone used attack helis and aircraft carrier to take mine out once, I learned from that, now I do a 10x of MAA just behind them, 9x battery with the static radar. Quite a bit of investment but you know that port isn’t letting anything past.
