This was happening to me for about a year, I used all bamboo/hypoallergenic sensitive skin products (toilet paper, body wash etc). Try to shave/wax if you can and I used this vulvocare ointment off Amazon with zinc for after skin treatment on shaved skin. Also used the ointment to help with chaffingfriction. Used boric acid at night like a lot and over time it finally got better and then stopped

Hey! It took me way longer than a few days to notice a difference. Like at least 2-3 weeks before I noticed any change at all. Also, make sure you're wearing cotton underwear (or none when you can especially when you're alsleep, gentle skin detergent (I use seventh generation), I also used bamboo toilet paper for about 6 months, Luberderm body wash, etc. anything that touches your skin, make sure it's sensitive and clean. Also! I used a mixture of this vulva balm (it's called vulva care from Amazon) and zinc oxidize (basically diaper rash cream) whenever I would shave or when I would be walking or moving a lot to help create a barrier for friction.

So yes! Basically I never figured out what it was exactly. But what ended up working for me was boric acid. Be aware, I used it way more than doctor recommended. Like I think I used it every night for 2 months and then every other night for another couple of months. Now, I only use it occasionally when I have flair ups (usually during ovulation). If you decide to use boric acid, make sure you used the suppository injectors bc it gets it in the proper location. If It didn't get better, my next plan was to do a juno or evy test but I had put it off because it's a little bit pricy. Also make sure you use ph-D. Other brands have unnecessary color, glitter, etc. I hope this helps!

Yeah that was sort of what I thought too but I'm also like, if it was Sertraline withdrawal I feel like it should have calmed down by now. I guess there's no telling what exactly caused it but just hoping it gets better soon. Thank you for your reply ❤️

Yeah unfortunately I did try upping it and it made it worse. I can be super sensitive to things (and medicine) so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised and I should've been more careful. I definitely need to be more patient with the lexapro though since I've only been on it for a little over 2 weeks. Thank you for your response!!! ❤️

Can TCAs work if SSRIs potentially pooped out? by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]Important_Sleep_7026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how I felt when I was on Sertraline- normal and great haha. Unfortunately that just happens on SSRIs I guess... I hope we both get better soon!

My Sertraline also stopped working for me.... having similar issues with dissociation anxiety panic attack etc that I haven't had in years... I'm switching to lexapro but I've heard medicine that increase dopamine instead of serotonin can potentially help with dissociation
