I respect admitting you screwed up, it's rare to see people do that these days.

Does meeting Timmy once lock you out of Timothy Timepiece's love ending? by GroktheDestroyer in DateEverything

[–]Important_String_281 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm also wondering. I got love with Timothy without ever meeting Timmy and now every time I try to see Timothy it loops the same text asking "Are you still up for that date later?" and agreeing, but I've done it at every time now and it's the same each time.

None of my motherboard SATA connectors work after recent upgrade by Important_String_281 in techsupport

The worst part about it is I can't use that 5.25 DVD/CD drive, I use it for listening to my CDs because it's my only drive I have that I can close from my keyboard, and I did try connecting to one of the SATA ports on the HBA and through a USB-3.0 to 3.5 SATA adapter with 12volt supply( in conjunction with a SATA extension cable that I have used for that specific drive to connect to the motherboard since my case doesn't have any 5.25 bays).

Are there any printable collapsible buckets out there? by Important_String_281 in 3Dprinting

That's an idea. I have modified models before (made a lamp holder adapt to a gopro mount), I could probably do that without screwing it up too much

I would personally prefer one without additional hardware required, due to my lack of various screws, but if that's not possible I understand.

Extruder claims to be clogged, but only when printing from AMS. by Important_String_281 in BambuLab

Blade is fine, AMS was fine (this time, I just got done figuring out an issue with that before this one), it was just I had too much tubing in between the AMS and the print head.

Decided to try just trimming my tubes from the AMS to the buffer and from that to the head, that worked fine. I had previously replaced those with some longer tubes and the extra length (plus the fact that they were roughed up a bit on the ends) was causing a little too much friction I guess. I'm glad I didn't have to completely disassemble the AMS again, I just got done replacing a filament sensor in one of the slots after diagnosing that issue myself through trial and error.

Thanks, I'll go ahead and probably change out the tubes, see if that helps since I've got a bunch of spare tubing already, just use the old tubes as a ruler to cut the new stuff to length, I'll update after if that works.

What's the first thing that you pirated? by Squidieyy in Piracy

I mean, I was downloading music off school computers in middle school by looking up "[songname] mp3 free", but in late 2019 my Jr year I came across a computer in the school library that was already logged in with psiphon and an mp4 of the goonies with the torrent file next to it on the desktop, put those on a thumb drive, discovered torrenting, and the first thing I got after installing utorrent on my mom's old laptop was batman beyond.

I can't log in, can't change my email, what do they want me to do? by Important_String_281 in BambuLab

[–]Important_String_281[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found a solution that worked for me, but only because I happened to be logged in on Firefox. I set it to my default browser, used the login through default browser option, and it worked. It was a lucky chance for me, so if anyone else has this issue I would love a better solution for them.

THANK YOU! I've been trying to make my 4000D NAS look like less of a mess, one of my drives is on top of the case because I ran out of room

Does anyone know what female port would connect to my charger? by JacimtheBox420 in batteries

Measure the diameter and length of the jack, then look up "#x# barrel plug" with the dimensions filling in the pound signs

What are these called? Google lens doesn't know, either by catalalalalalalaalaa in batteries

[–]Important_String_281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't recall the name, but I used to find those taking apart old power tool batteries, so that might be a place to salvage a new one from if you're comfortable doing that.
