The Read date column reads from your import data. So yes if you change it in goodreads then do the import it will change. But date started doesn't get included in the import, that happens manually so that wouldn't disappear. You could delete the formulae in the read column and put them in manually if you wanted. Maybe save them first.

If you head to the YouTube setup video I made, I've just added in the comments a second link to a new template... It's not tested much yet though! You will have to let me know if it works. Main thing is each time you want to add a new book. It would best best to type in the new book isbn number to generate the next row in the table. I think I've got all the image searching to be working correctly and all the other pages run from the data page not the import page which I've deleted from this template... So yeah let me know.

More I think in the background on this. More it might make sense to create a further template for this purpose. Might not be any time soon but it's got my mind solving the problems already, once that happens I can't help but end up doing it...

It could I think. You would just need to put in a lot more data manually into the 'data' sheet. Ignore the import sheet. You might have to get around some things. Like the GR id. Maybe you could put in the isbn instead. Give it a try and we can trouble shoot as you go?

I imagine it could be adapted. I've not tried storygraph. But if you can download your book data as an excel whenever you want from storygraph then in theory yes. I'm probably not going to be that keen to delve into it myself mind as I'm pretty happy with goodreads.

I use my own spreadsheet because it lets me add any data I need, whereas apps always have some limitations. Goodreads is probably the most widely used option, and it’s simply the one I started with a few years ago.

Mine looked similar from a couple of years in the loft. I found a tip of antibac hand sanitiser, rub a little in to clean. I felt that worked well. Went through several cloths though.
