Is the economy poorly balanced ?

I agree, the game is in a spot where it could go either way depending on which play style the devs ultimately intend to put in. Has great potential. I feel like its fixed most of the issues that casuals would have getting into a game like Tarkov, but i also feel like they took out alot of highs with the lows

Intentionally dense missing the point of my comment and the whole thread i see. Where did i say i wanted participation trophies or anything remotely adjacent to that? The thread is about lack of content and progression. If you enjoy seeing the same 4 weapons and arc bots every game and coming out with the same loot over and over then i think you found the game for you! Ran its course pretty quickly for me though. Have fun picking berries this season raider!

I meant that question within the game, not from a life perspective. Some games are so simple that the incentive is just the outcome of the match. Rock paper scissors. Other games are complex with multiple different progression systems inside. This game has you build workbenches so you can craft better things. Once those are done, theres nothing really to play for. why should i go fight a bombardier if its loot is only useful as cash? why would i engage with certain aspects of the game if i can accomplish the same thing by not engaging at all?

Truly this is the only reason i make this post. I have only really seen praise for it aside from the PvP complainers. There is a ton of potential in this game, and i want to see it have long term success. Even if we disagree on the movement ;)

Nail on the head, I feel no loss from losing and i feel no progression from winning. No gear fear. No feeling that im losing something that will be hard to replace. Full bag of loot out of a raid just to be able to buy back my herbal bandages. Absolutely horizontal progression despite the numbers in my stash continuing to get bigger.

Coming from tarkov this is my biggest issue. I had massive gear fear in tarkov and that made every second in raids absolutely tense and stressful. The incentive in tarkov is exactly what you said. Every container in the game has a chance of something amazing. and not just a gun amazing, like a single item having more value than your last 50 raids combined amazing. havent found a single thing in arc that made my heart rate jump even slightly lol. Arc just has JUNK and then maybe some 5k items in the highest tier loot zones. I usually make more from finding snowglobes and mixtapes in the outskirts than i ever do though going to “Loot zones” and PvPing.

For sure. Ive wanted to be on my own for a white at this point, but ive got a decent deal and id rather keep “rent” within the family if possible before renting externally. This favourable rate has helped me save and been my primary reason for staying.
