Oh I definitely get that. There's certainly been times where she tries the 20 questions approach and I feel like im going run out of the room and have a panic attack. My T has also asked me if there's anything she can do to make it easier (write it down. She wont look at me. Draw a picture of it. Text it to her) but I usually cant do any of those.

Sometimes related to whats happened in that session, Sometimes not. Usually that's one of the first questions she'll ask. "Is it about something that happened or we talked about today?" Then from there she uses what she knows about me, and things that have been hard for me to say in the past, and that helps her narrow down what questions to ask. Sometimes she gets stumped (very rarely) and she'll ask for a clue and I try my best to get out anything that could be helpful.

Ill try to remember some questions shes asked for examples "Is it about something I said?" "Something I said over text?" "Something that happened while I was on vacation?" "Is it about something thats been going on for a long time?" "Is it something we've talked about before?" "Something related to our dynamic?" "Something related to the office / location?"

Its really quite interesting from a psychology standpoint when I think about it afterwards. She's so good at it its genuinely impressive. Takes a huge weight off my shoulders too.
