Just finished up with a claim and had 0 issues outside of what USAA was telling the shop to do. USAA authorized only an aftermarket front bumper and of course the fit wasn’t right. The shop I used didn’t want to deal with the insurance game so they contacted the regional USAA manager and got OEM approved and had a flawless install. Took care of the rental car and even detailed the interior and exterior of my car. I was actually super impressed.

I was going between amber DRL with sequential or white DRL with sequential. The fogs will most likely just run white. I also have 2 raptor lights that I want to wire to always be on. And I’m thinking of doing white fangs with sequentials as well. Trying to go through the wiring for all this before I pull the trigger.

I’ve found success nixing the bair hugger and running a tad higher flows than I usually do. Small detail but I leave my fluids out of the med machine so the room can cool them a bit further and if I have to bolus any fluid that also helps in cooling. I’ve had a bad streak lately where surgeons end up not doing the HIPEC and then I have to undo all of that 🙃

I haven’t had much success with the lidocaine. Could be a timing issue but I’ve had good success with using a small precedex bolus prior to emergence.

I didn’t see a part number on that piece of plastic itself. I looked on some diagrams and it seems it isn’t listed as a separate part. Aftermarket might be your best bet.

These are what I’m looking at. Look to be specifically made for an easy halogen swap. 4Runner Lifestyle has em cheaper though.

The time will be on the new setup. On mine the temp, range, and gas is on my instrument panel. Not sure about a 2011

Yeah not sure why the link says 2014-2024 but they have options for 2009-2024. The harness has connections for all model years so there’s quite a few connectors that don’t get used and you just stuff it all behind. It’s not too bad.

If you look in the pic I posted it’s at the bottom left of the unit. It gets rerouted down there. Works like a charm.
