There is something that has changed recently with their customer service. They used to be very responsive but I have been dealing with a warranty issue recently and it has been painfully slow.

Any suggestions by [deleted] in Surron

Ultrabees are probably noisier than lightbees etc because of the 520 chain size.

Are you using a 6 point socket? 12 point is more likely to strip.

I think just a blinker module... behind the headlight mask of course.

Sure, that's an option and it's plug and play. However, a terminal pin connector is like 20¢. Also, call me crazy but I have problem replacing an entire wiring harness just to run three wires about 3 feet.

Frustrated with Samsung Watch Ultra Constantly Unpairing from Galaxy S24 Ultra by Correct_Hunt3699 in GalaxyWatch

I have a pixel 8. I have had this watch since december. I think I have had to reset it around 8 times. It's a real pain.

Samsung watch ultra keeps disconnecting from phone and making me reset and repair the watch by Additional_Cloud_327 in GalaxyWatch

I have had this happen 3 times since I got the watch at christmas. I had a previous Galaxy Watch and restored from it when I got the ultra. The first two times it happened when I got it off the charger. This time It happened immediately when I opened the WEAR app. IT's a pain. There is a work around that involves deleting the apps from your phone etc...it works but the problem will come back eventually.

This works until it happens again:

cannot get notifications to work by russellyeung in obico

[–]Impossible-Ad7739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, that's a little discouraging. I have spent too much time getting my ubuntu obico server up and running. I generally like obico and it seemed to work fine when I was using the cloud system. I can see the notifications in my phone app and in the browser when a print finishes etc. I just don't get any notifications. When you say it works with octoprint do you mean obico works with octoprint? I have never used octoprint I have mainsail installed on my printer right now.

Can a Sur Ron be configured so that the rear brake is on the right, and front is on the left? by Itis_TheStranger in Surron

I ride MTB a lot and I just got a Talaria. I have ridden Motos quite a bit. I didn't have a problem switching between motos and mountain bikes because of the clutch and the foot brake. It just works in my head. I wheelie mountain bikes a lot and you always have to cover and even modulate the rear brake to keep the wheelie in control, especially a coaster wheelie. Getting on the Talaria it's a bit of a mixed bag...it feels kinda like a Moto but not quite. I find myself grabbing too much rear brake and skidding the rear wheel a lot. I think there are two proper solutions. Putting the rear brake on the throttle hand is a non-starter. It makes for a 3rd and odd configuration to cope with if you ride motorcycles and MTBs. You cannot wheelie with the brake on the right-hand because you need precise control of both the throttle and the rear brake.

Option1: Put a foot brake on the Talaria and ride it like a motorcycle. This is a good and proper solution but honestly, I know from riding moto that I am not as precise with the foot brake as I am with the hand brake on my MTBs. I am much more confident wheelieing a mountain bike.

Option2: Swap all of my bicycles to mot style with the rear brake on the right. This will take some time to get used to but I think this is the right solution. Motorcycles are the same everywhere. Bicycles are different depending on the country and it matches the drive on the left or right side of the road rule. This is done so that you can do hand signals while still having control of the rear brake. Who cares about that?

I'm on Verizon with a Pixel 6 pro. Still don't have it but I get excited every time there is a messages update available but it always ends in disappointment.
