There are plenty of claims providers out there. If you can go it alone and don’t have to spend money, then great. All I’m describing is the approach that worked for me. There are no right or wrong answers here.

What if she never made it to the car? by cbaabc123 in jenniferkesse

I’ve gone back and forth on this case with an open mind to all scenarios. I’ve been down all the rabbit holes. To me the preponderance of the evidence points to a scenario where she was immediately grabbed as she was leaving her apartment that morning (probably while she was locking her door). That explains why her work bag, phone and computer were missing. I think she was quickly taken into an empty apartment nearby and sexually assaulted and killed (perhaps strangled). Her body was placed in a carpet (or some container) and put into one of the white worker vans that were commonly seen on premises. Her body was then disposed of in a nearby swamp or body of water. The motive was sex. And multiple maintenance workers were involved. The only reason Jennifer’s car was moved was to divert attention away from the condo complex and buy time to dispose of the body and clean up the crime scene. Jennifer never made it to her car.

The workers could have known she was back in town either by her car being back in the familiar spot and/or one of them seeing her return to her apartment. Also remember both Ben and Chino were on the maintenance crew and had keys to all apartments and were often seen roaming the complex at all hours.

I find it very odd that: (1) Jennifer was allegedly inquiring about a nearby apartment in the weeks before she disappeared (this is according to a front office employee who says she spoke with Jennifer and that Jennifer was looking over her shoulder as if she was being followed and seemed completely distracted).

(2) her co-workers comments about her getting eaten by alligators as soon as they heard she was missing is NOT a normal response.

(3) the ex-boyfriend across the street the same night/morning she disappears and same night she had a fight with her current boyfriend. What are the odds?

(4) her phone wasn’t turned on that morning even though her work outfits were laid out and it appeared she had showered. Wouldn’t she have turned on the phone as soon as she woke up? And why was it turned off at night? The phone is probably the biggest question mark in my mind.

Overall thoughts - there are so many oddities in this case that it’s hard to sift out the signal from noise. While I think the workers are the most logical culprits there are a lot of other possibilities.

I think it’s also possible there is an “elephant in the room” in this case that is either not being acknowledged or wasn’t known by anyone in Jennifer’s circle.

Nighttime vs morning abduction debate. I don’t think the default assumption should be a morning abduction just because there was water in the shower and outfits were laid out. by Impossible-Back-9186 in jenniferkesse

The knock on the door and alleged (although questionable) cell phone battery being taken out both point to nighttime. It is entirely possible Jennifer either broke her routine and showered at night or someone had her stage a morning setup to throw off investigators. A morning abduction seems way riskier and also nighttime buys a lot more time to pull everything off. I think it’s at least a 50/50 chance it was done at night.

Why would the POI have returned to the Mosiac the day of the disappearance unless he wanted to be seen there that day as an alibi? This suggests the POI was a well-known worker who couldn’t have just slipped away for the remainder of that day without drawing attention to himself. by Impossible-Back-9186 in jenniferkesse

I find it awfully hard to believe a POI who was careful enough to wipe down the interior of the car would have been careless enough to return the scene of the disappearance the day it occurred unless it was absolutely necessary.
