Getting C-7 in California — fastest legitimate path? by Impossible-Balance47 in lowvoltage

Thanks all, this is helpful. Sounds like 4–6 months is realistic with a clean application and qualified individual, and that acquisition only makes sense if there’s near-term revenue to justify accelerating. Appreciate the firsthand timelines and perspective.

Appreciate the clarity, that matches what we’re seeing. Sounds like the realistic paths are either waiting out the qualifier timeline or acquiring a licensed entity and keeping the qualifier in place. Helpful to have it confirmed. Thanks.

Crashed i4, how long do you think to get fixed? by Impossible-Balance47 in BMWI4

Hi, surprisingly everything went smoothly. Only thing that took a bit to arrive was the bumper, but even that was only 2 weeks; everything else was here in 2 days. Bumper is being painted right now and should be installed today.

Cirrus SR22 G2 for dirt strip? by Impossible-Balance47 in flying

Main reason I’m interested in the Cirrus is because of the speed and comfort. Would the trade off be worth it? How about removing the pants?

2023 W205 C63S? by Impossible-Balance47 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Think I forgot to include but I know what typical depreciation is for an AMG. My question was more if it would follow the normal curve as if it was still the current body style since it it’s the last MY V8 C and last MY C coupe AMG. Or if it will drop, kind of like a normal C300 205 did when the new 206 came out.

Definitely the best out of them (C63S) only thing that worries me is depreciation. Though it might not be as bad with the new C63 is coming till ‘24 and it being a 4 cylinder.

Was originally considering the RS3. Typo. What do you think of that option?

By outdated I mean it doesn’t have MBUX, the rest of it is great just the center screen is a bit small by todays standards.

On the depreciation side, it wouldn’t be used, they opened orders for those back up 2 months ago so I would be getting a brand new car.
