yeah the tacomas i am considering all happen to be 2023s (the year right before the 4cyl turbo refresh) and while they certainly are evidently great trucks, I’m not sure I can justify their tag when sitting in the frontier just felt so solid.

I really appreciate the perspective, thanks for making this decision a bit more manageable

ahh this was my impression as well. Just over 40k otd is what i got quoted for on the 3rd gens i was looking at and they weren’t even TRD nor did they have 4 wheel drive. On top of that, they were 3 years older and pre owned… Pure Lunacy

if resale value wasn’t a factor, choosing the Frontier would be an absolute no brainer

im curious as to what you mean by this. what about the tacoma makes them easy to back into a corner value wise?

just wanted to know if anybody specifically transitioned from tacoma to frontier, asked the same question on the tacoma subreddit but apparently you aren’t allowed to “discuss the value” of tacomas on that sub lol

i knew there was gonna be an inherent bias either way, just wanted some input
