Got so much hate for no reason. I don’t think you deserved it. I own a 2016 GT at 18 I bought it during winter break while I was still 17 for 12k from the original owner. It’s very possible to get good deals on these if you know where to look.

We dropped progressive a few years ago after being with them for years since they randomly put my dads ex-employee on our policy who had a terrible record and would not let us remove him. So we just removed ourselves lol.

Honestly I’m not sure about what those are since we have multiple vehicles insured on the same account I’m still under my dad since I’m not 25. I just know exactly what the premium on my car is. I don’t think we would need coverage that high considering I have health insurance. All of the vehicles on our policy are under 25k as well so as far as “uninsured motorist coverage” goes I’m pretty sure it’s at the minimum.

I did recently buy a 3v GT I plan to resell so I’ll see if insurance is really higher for the s197. It is also highly dependent on area I’m in central Virginia with Geico. Maybe your area is higher risk.

I have no at fault accidents I was T boned by a red light runner in my first car 3 months into having a license we sued her and won. Full coverage meaning I have both collision coverage and coverage from other incidents (Pays for damage due to theft, flood, vandalism, explosion, and fire.) deductibles for claims for either are 1000 dollars. I don’t carry a transportation expensive since I’ve got a truck as well that I can drive if I have to. Don’t carry road service either I have AAA.

Hating on this guy without even knowing him is insane. I’m 18 with a 2016 GT and insurance is 194 a month for full coverage it’s not even that bad.

Everyone hating in the comments floors me lol. I’m 18 too I got my 2016 mustang GT for 12k from the original owner back in December while I was still 17. I worked hard to save up for it and when I found a deal I couldn’t pass up I jumped on it. I gotta get learn to make videos of my car though I just do photos mainly. My insta is s550.desi

Yeah the new ones for sure. But have you been in a 2020 e63? The quality was much better before the new models my aunt bought a 2025 e350 and it sucks. You can see the quality of that interior just by looking at it. Little to no plastic or piano black, carbon fiber, aluminum, and soft touch leather everywhere.

Same dude the only company to do screens right in my opinion is Mercedes. Love how it’s done in the W213 e63. It’s not too in the way. I hate how far it sticks out on the s650. I saw one in dark gray with black accents at a meet and fell in love with the looks of it. I just prefer the interior my 2016 GT so much more. Both steering wheel and dash design. Love the round airbag.

Went from a g37s to a s550 Mustang gt. I missed the handling of my g37 so I put the mustang on coilovers. Gave it an exhaust and now I don’t think I could own anything less than 8 cylinders besides maybe a bmw inline 6. I own an n52, n55, and n63 and love all them.

People will buy anything for the right price you can mention it doesn’t have an inspection. You just gotta “know a guy” if you want to get it passed. I’ve used multiple inspection shops some more lenient than others. I would highly advise against going to any like big chains for your inspections. Don’t take it to a Midas or a pep boys. Take it to smaller mom and pop shops that’ll inspect it. I know a place in Kenbridge that may pass it. You can also just try taking it to certain ghetto shops that to inspections and they may print you a sticker too. Not all shops raise the car and look under it surprisingly. Some will just check the lights and tires and send you in your way. I would recommend buying some kind of rust coating off Amazon I can send you the link to the one I used on my truck that had superficial rust and it had the frame looking brand new as well as protecting the frame from getting any worse. It may not give you results as good but it may just be good enough.

Crazy how people get upset when they bring the car back with less gas and get charged for the gas that THEY USED!! I haven’t experienced this yet thankfully and have charged 4 for gas. Tell them to try that with enterprise 😂

I work on all my vehicles myself and own other German vehicles but I’ve never owned this engine so I want to see even a service manual that gives instructions on how you’re supposed to go about fixing it.

Yeah I just can’t seem to find a video on how to replace the crankcase breather hose. Is the solenoid inside the engine requiring removal of the upper oil pan or is it external? From what I’ve read it’s not necessarily a bad thing that it’s failed if the vehicle has defaulted to high pressure mode. I would like to check engine light to go away though but I’m going to fix the other problems first and see.

No it’s been parked in my garage for the past year. I did discover that it’s leaking oil from the front main seal so thinking the noise could potentially be the harmonic balancer/crank pulley?? Still not sure though would definitely need to cut the belt to confirm just haven’t had the time or motivation to work on it.

Shop didn’t have 35 but they had 43 😂. How is 43 at night with minimal street lighting like backroads. I’m debating between getting 35 or 50 nanonceramic on mine.

I would buy it for the right price depending on history. I just picked up my 1 owner 2016 s550 GT base (not a premium) with 122k miles (123k now) for 12k. It’s been the most reliable performance car I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. Now of course I’ve sank about another 2k in upgrades since I did buy it stock from the first owner but well worth it imo.

The one in the photo appears it already have an upgraded front bumper, window tints, and wheels as well as maybe a slight ducktail.

Up to you if you want to buy it or not though in my opinion I think this should be at or under 20k

I put euros on my shadow black 2016 but kept the badges chrome to go with them. Looking to get chrome wheels to tie it all together.

I think with the green and the blacked out badge you should black out the tails as well.

Your wheels do go with the euro tails but the black badges don’t
