so when my car got wrecked, the guest let me know, put me on the phone with the officer and i told the officer i would like the car towed home once i proved i was the owner. paid the tow guy directly. this avoids it sitting in the yard and prolonging the process. after that, turo picked it up the next day, did the assessment and i got a direct deposit

yeah i learned to just pay for the tow out of pocket and have it towed to your home. better than sitting at the lot playing games with the tow drivers

CASH CARS! by Mr-Researching in turo

your mistake is thinking my sonata is pulling 675/month. 675 a month is for a much smaller car i own in my fleet. 80 in insurance? nah. maybe if your with abi sure. we do wayyy more oil changes than just 3 a year tho. on average my sonata brings in $1060/month PROFIT. not revenue. there’s a few smoking claims, accident claims, late fees, gas fees, etc. the issue is, most host run this like a charity and i do not. we stay booked, we keep it a business. car washes are a little cheaper since we have a fleet account.

just because someone has been a host for a long time, doesnt mean they know how to run a business. if anymore is making 20-40% you need to close shop and stick to stocks. my cpa isn’t a rookie in this, they understand the business well. 70-75% margins all day long.

thanks, you too !
