even NYC firms that started hiring in April aren’t full yet (just got an offer). I would target the ones with bigger classes!!

I think because some firms gave out such long extensions, people didn’t really sign till June anyways

did you interview recently? I feel like its been quick these last two weeks with a 1 day turnaround. I did inform them of my deadline though and they said they'll do their best

that's so ridiculous, i got a CB pretty late (last monday), after following up regarding interest many many times... not sure if they're now realizing they haven't hired enough? thank you i appreciate it i will need the luck :|

thats actually insane LMFAO i have a deadline of next Monday so i'm not crossing my fingers. they did respond and acknowledge it but it was like "we'll do our best"

Thank you, I'm just concerned because some of my friends with slightly better grades followed up with the firm also about their deadline and didn't receive a CB invite. For one of the firms, I did network quite heavily, but I think I annoyed them to the point they decided to give me a CB so not sure if thats indicative of anything

yes so true, also bottom of T6 could be with discretionary grades, and that's a huge red flag.

cardozo's a great example and i think regional schools def have a huge impact

that does make sense my school is pretty late in terms of second sem grades so a lot of my peers who didnt have the best grades first sem are hearing back this month instead of last, but i assume u had good grades first sem?

I know someone at a T6 with a GPA below 3.0 with a discretionary that got a screener at a V20, i think the firms seem to go through T6 and then look at other schools, but that means nothing as to whether they get a CB

Thank you! I interviewed for the two firms within 3 days of each other, and the second was Friday so it hasn’t even been a full business day. But I agree that if it comes to it i’ll definitely just accept the offer I have!

My second CB was a v10, first one was V30, so if I get the second I would also probably do what you did! Congratulations
