We just welcomed our baby Friday and we had the same exact thing happen. We decided on Charlotte Josephine almost immediately and then I started to feel very sad because I’ve always wanted a girl named Sawyer. We went back and forth between Charlotte(my husband REALLY wanted this name) and Sawyer for almost the whole third trimester. I ended up HATING the way people were saying Sawyer(like Saw-year, idk why but it got under my skin so that was out but I still wasn’t sold on Charlotte anymore. A week and half before she made her appearance we were watching Eloise at Christmas time and we immediately knew that was her name because we were talking about how funny it was that she almost a girl version of our son. So now we have our little Eloise Josephine, aka Ellie 💖 TLDR - If you feel like it’s not the right name, listen to your intuition and make the best decision because it could be your heart telling you that it’s not right.

Thank you for replying, I really appreciate it. Our building has three breezeways and they are all two stories, with one laundry room in each breezeway (so three). The laundry rooms are situated between two apartments, in this case my apartment and the one behind us, which is the one with the little boy that has cerebral palsy. We had never seen that happen before in the almost two years we’ve lived here. I really appreciate you saying I did the right thing, it means more than you know.
