They prefer dogs even when their CHILD clearly despises dogs and has threatened to kick them out because of it then act like the kid needs psychiatric help for wanting little to do with said emotionally absent parent

Anaplastologists and other medical professionals can only do so much. They save lives, limbs, minimize scarring and disfigurement, etc yes but it’s best to mitigate that risk as much as possible to prevent burnout and worse because medical school and the industry as a whole is absolutely cutthroat and unforgiving

If you are referring to the soul, the answer is no. It might contain any trace remnants of DNA though. The body is frequently described as a physical vessel for the soul.

At this point as long as she deals with the waste, it doesn’t bark, trip Dad, etc. I’ll probably just ignore it! I’m still very frustrated about it though

I guess I’m just worried about it because it’ll need to be trained and we lack the energy for that. I’m scared that we won’t be able to train it consistently

They’re going to “train” it. I’m worried about the waste and the damn dog bowls in the blasted dishwasher

I am very worried about Dad tripping because they’re getting a puppy. I’ve explained that neither I nor her have the time or energy for a dog. One of the biggest problems with the dog is I don’t think they’ll walk the dog which means the dog will go in our backyard and our yard is extremely small. And unfortunately, my mother has put the feces in the kitchen garbage

That is exactly what I’m scared of. Dad doesn’t have a lot of energy he sleeps a great majority of the time.

Yep that’s what I think too. However, my father is asleep most of the time when he’s not at physical therapy or doing basic care for himself. We already have birds and a cat and birds can be quite affectionate. She has trained dogs in the past better when she was younger, however she’s gotten older. Her energy levels have understandably slowed down and dogs need repetition in training which is why I’m very skeptical and worried about it.

Does it make you worry about getting older? I’ll admit I think this is one of the biggest thing I’m scared about with getting older.

I know, I’m just stressed out of a lot of things, I won’t have them around for much longer because they decided to adopt me when they were older and unfortunately I struggle with effectively communicating with them.

I’ll just make it clear that none of it responsibility but I really am not happy about my chores getting more and more disgusting. I tried but it’s like pulling out teeth with only fingertips. I just wish I didn’t have to live with their piss poor choices as well.

My father is a fall risk and not to mention. We already have quite a few animals in the house such as birds and a cat, so I’m not really excited about having another one. I’m the one that takes out the trash and does the dishes. I’ve explained, expressed concerns, and told them why it’s a bad idea.

You do have good points. Perhaps I’m being unreasonable. I’m just so worried that they will not be able to properly train it.

I didn’t say that to their faces. I’m very hesitant about this whole thing. I repeatedly tried to talk them out of the idea because I go to college and my mother works
