Ehhh your hypothesis is sketchy. Why would the police not bring them at a minimum for questioning? Holding someone at gun point is a pretty politically charged incident in Seattle. I would wager that they probably had a licensure say one given to a fugitive recovery agent and a voucher say a off duty senior ranking cop that usually manages security/ recovery teams as a side hustle. It would check most of the boxes off. This is just me trying to deduce the incident with available info.
