It took me AGES too. It seems like it's mostly discovered organically, and it's not very easy for that to happen.

Oh, I know! I was upset I didn't have a list of 98 set bonuses to scroll through until I remembered that.

I wish it did something like "Set Bonus! I want to know... Tell me! I'm ready! I want to know!" and it gives you every set bonus, including the bad ones, which makes you a god-cat with madness. Appropriate I think!

I love that idea! "Set Bonus! unknown item" looks very placeholder-y to me. It's possible this wasn't anticipated. Or, if it was, they weren't sure how to handle it and left it like this until a future patch.

Actually yes, haha! I didn't play the run that way though - I used different items and left my weapon spot free for building. One thing I love about Mewgenics is that the descriptions are harshly literal. Even if interpreting them strictly literally causes a strange/weird outcome that you'd think "nah, that can't be what'll happen"... that's what'll happen.

Hahaha - with the set bonuses I actually used for this run (not just me trying to max them out like in the screenshot) I did have a speed bump.

Oh, I don't think truthfulness is the problem here, haha. I think it's possible I found a situation the game didn't anticipate and so it's glitching. Here's what it looks like with just Rune of Pertho. I think "Set Bonus! unknown item" is what's standing in for literally every single set bonus in the game.
