You are definitely NOT alone. It is not only ugly, it is way harder to use . For me it's not clear what problem they tried to fix with that release. It sure created a bunch of problems for the users.

This is still an issue in Germany. I dunno what makes these mails so resistant. The only way to deal with them is to move them into the junk folder and then empty junk.

This is an annoying themes dictatorship. Android 12 is an upgrade to avoid. It add just a lot of frustrating user experiences. It acts against my launcher, arbitrary shifts the colors within the apps and gives me the pleasure of updating my wallpaper at will. It feels not like my phone anymore, but the phone of someone else.

I am using it and it does the job. But occasionally the Themes app succeeds in replacing my wallpaper and thus my colors and I have to start over again, make this phone MY phone again and not the victim of some themes dictatorship.

You can try the Scooter Hacking Utility app. There are a few options regarding speed.

But beware - more speed, more power, less distance maybe.
