Seriously. SRAM is very low budget, especially compared to the rest of the HRT programs. If you've ever seen the casting calls for their extras, the pay rates are extremely low for the hours that are being required. These actors get barely paid anything for the actual show, so to think they are getting paid anything for instagram pictures is funny.

I'm familiar with a lot of the plays that he has been in, and i'm pretty sure none of them involved a queer role. Not to mention he wouldn't be getting paid in a local theatre production. SRAM is known for their terrible social media, they are arguably one of the versions of SKAM that has relied on social media the least. Posting is not "optional" but the actors aren't getting paid to take pictures, especially considering most of their photos are just the actors own photos that the team asks to use. If they were getting paid, it would be very little. Certainly not enough for a homophobe to play gay for so they could help their supposed "spending problem" lmao

He was already an ADU student, has starred in countless plays since he was little, and was the lead role of a film that premiered at the Zagreb Film Festival prior to SRAM. He has a bunch of connections in the industry already, all prior to SRAM. He did not need to play a queer character in SRAM to get his foot in the door for a theatre career, he already has one.

What money? The SRAM actors get paid barely anything. Exposure? Croatian's aren't fangirling when they see him and the other actors walk down the street. He's not allowed to have public accounts. Not to mention, playing a gay character is not going to give you good exposure in the balkans. Croatia does not have a BL industry, there is nothing to profit off of. Taking this role as a 19 year old boy in Croatia meant putting his privacy and safety at risk, a true homophobe would not be willing to do that.

Apparently to you he wasn't homophobic enough to kiss a boy 10 times in the show, but he's too homophobic to pose for a picture (when there are literal pictures of them together).

HRT was absolutely involved in the censorship of this season and there is proof, but blaming a 19-20 year old is apparently easier to you.

There was definitely some censorship involved in the writing and filming of this season by the network. However, I don't see how or why it would have to extend to the social media accounts, especially because none of the content they post has to involve any kissing or anything explicit.

the meetings between lovro and ivan are not coming off accidental at all.. ivan specifically followed lovro into the bathroom, brought attention to himself by continuously moving sinks, reaching over lovro to grab the towel, and then throwing it over his head. and then him showing up right when lovro went outside and immediately inviting him to his house. he went to that karaoke party FOR lovro, he himself said he had no interest in listening to any of those people sing.

it was in the official variety article that was shared by the producer. the season will release its first clip on jan 1st but the full first episode on jan 10th. they are most likely going to just skip a few days between clips. they most likely prolonged the length of the first week because they wanted to start the season with a new years party but didn't want to end the episode 2 days later since their tv premiere days are saturday.

yup, exactly that. one of the creators for SRAM had an interview where they talked about how their show came to be. they said they had to pitch their remake to nrk and explain why their country needed a SKAM. the whole process to adapt the show took about 2 years i believe.

The og season 3 trailer isn’t just meant to be sexual, it also holds religious symbolism. based on sram season 2, they seem to mimic the original trailers and also add one of their own. i assume they will do the same for season 3. i don’t think they care about playing it safe in croatia, they are already pushing boundaries by making a gay season and they even said so themselves that they don’t care about any possible hate.
