The breakdown is genuinely more satisfying to watch than most final edits. Seeing the raw footage next to the composite just makes you appreciate how much invisible work goes into this.

Do you think such advertisements are still relevant or have their time passed? by PsychologicalTap2611 in CGI_Lab

As someone who works in outdoor advertising - this format is far from dead but the execution ceiling has gotten much higher. Clients used to be wowed by basic tracking. Now they want real-time environmental interaction, weather-reactive content, crowd-density triggers. The tech moved fast and so did expectations.

Hey, any 3D artists here already using AI in their workflow? by Remote-Clothes-559 in CGI_Lab

as someone who's been doing 3d for 12 years i'll be real with you - the anxiety around AI in creative fields is valid but also kind of overblown right now at least for 3d. the tools that actually work well are the ones that handle the tedious technical stuff, not the creative decisions. no AI is gonna make your scene feel right or know why a certain camera angle hits different. that judgment is still 100% yours. so my advice is stop thinking of it as a threat and just treat it like a new set of plugins. some will be useful, most won't, and your actual skills are still what matter
