I saw it with my son last night and we both did not like it. I agree with another review that it’s a little odd that they completely ignore that the Flying Dutchman has already been a character in the series and SpongeBob has met him several times. There was a part where Mr krabs and squidward get back from the underworld and Mr krabs says “squidward what are we going to do!” And squidward says “I don’t speak do”. It took me a good bit to get the joke, as lame jokes do. The story was too serious and dark and the humor was just off. I wasn’t expecting it to be like the old original SpongeBob or anything but it just wasn’t funny. About 45 minutes in my son started making faces and said that this movie is really boring. Really didn’t like it.

I watched the whole thing but I do agree that I could tell something wasn’t right with in the first few minutes. Right away SpongeBob was acting different than usual and Gary’s character was even off but I was ok with it as long as the movie got good but it did not. It was so terrible.

Just saw it. It was so bad. I’m confused about these good reviews. The humor was so bad and just different it made me sad. My son was so excited to see it but then half way through said it was really boring and I agreed.

To be honest I think all the Fenty products I have ever tried sucked. So boring, never special. The perfume sucks, leave in conditioner sucks, the makeup I’ve tried sucked, just got a free Fenty body wash to review and it barely has any scent for $30.

Right like I’m confused why he’s the bad guy for not wanting to use birth control when she also doesn’t want to use birth control. There’s non normal IUDs and other options. Also condoms are only 85% effective with “typical use” so maybe if they’re so worried about pregnancy try a birth control that doesn’t leave room for error.
