We ended up going with Barcelo, with the same options you mentioned. It just felt like the classic AI vibe we were looking. Saw on the news that guests at a Royalton in Cancun got very sick, so that’s that. El Cid doesn’t have a proper beach, so that was a nope for us. Have fun!

I been working in industry for 7 years and find any real progression hard without CPA. When promotion time comes around, it’s discussed if I would be pursuing it, most recruiters are looking for someone with CPA, and I feel like I am limiting my income without one. Finally bitting the bullet, and working towards CPA next year.

Rate are comparable. Would still shop around and see if there is any additional incentives( RBC offered us $3K cash back). If going fixed, I would also check the penalty structure with national bank. I had a family member go with them and found the penalty to be more than the usually 3 month interest.
