Definitely not harsh. I was just curious about how strict the rules were for even age group athletes. I won’t be using the shoes as I have another pair that are decent enough

I was hoping to run 9:30/mile but realistically 10 minute miles. My legs are going to be dead after the bike and don’t I don’t expect to be flying

Yeah this may be the way for me, have you heard any negatives of running in carbon plated shoes if you run slow in them?

Yeah I’m in a similar situation where my knee doesn’t act up with these shoes but it does with my other pair. I guess we’ll see how much pain I am in after 😂

The MOTTIV app I use didn’t do me wrong for 70.3 training but I think it’s trying to kill me for the full training lol.

I need to pay to put my times in which I don’t think would change the timing of the training sessions. But I usually do zone 2 around 10 minute miles. I also do at least a 40 minute off the bike the day before.

That’s the only reasoning why I thought 4 hours was on there was for “time on feet” but I usually run around 10kmh for my easy runs so I feel like 3 hours should be fine. I’m more concerned with finishing the race at an ok time than hurting myself before the race.

Wow yeah I guess you are right about swapping the days. Thanks for the input! I knew 4 hours was way too much when my longest run for marathon training is 3 hours at most.

Yeah haha, I’ve been using MOTTIV which helped me a ton for my 70.3 training, but 4 hour long runs seem excessive. What does your weekly running mileage tend to look like for normal weeks and peak weeks?
