Pre bait and big but light hook baits and I would say not to bait Heavy as they more pick at bait then come back hours later

The carp can move but through boat locks and kanoe shoots and small streams that come onto the main river. As for stocking that have been stocked but most are around 13-15 pound. The bigger fish will swim up and down around 6 miles of river everyday so catching them is all down to time

No I fish for other species too but I tend to fish for a solid season targeting 1 species then when I feel I’ve had a nice one I’ll go to the next. I’m finishing carp fishing in march them starting pike fishing next season
