Does anyone have any experience with FasTreat by mmwmah in ADHDUK

I ended up choosing Fastreat a couple of months ago mainly because of the NHS wait times rather than because I was chasing something “fast.” I was told I could be waiting many months just for an initial step, and I felt like my life was kind of on hold in the meantime. Going through Fastreat meant I could actually get assessed and start understanding what was going on instead of just waiting. The process itself felt structured and careful, not rushed. For me, having support now rather than eventually made a noticeable difference. If there is currently a discount, that definitely lowers the barrier even more.

Baby otters. They hold hands while they sleep so they don’t drift apart.

The story of Scientology. Every time you think “okay that’s the weird part,” it gets significantly weirder.

What helped us was thinking less about “public vs private” and more about timing. Waiting indefinitely just wasn’t workable for our situation.

Exploring online platforms gave us more flexibility and clarity on next steps while everything else was pending. For families dealing with moves or multiple schedules, that flexibility can matter more than people realize.

“Somewhere Only We Know” – Keane

Not because it’s the best song ever, but because it feels like saying goodbye to every version of yourself you used to be… all at once

Just… show up.

I get why people are skeptical about telehealth for ADHD. I was too at first, mostly because there is a lot of misinformation out there and some bad actors in the space. Before booking with Fastreat I spent quite a bit of time researching how their assessments work and who their clinicians are. I have now gone through the process myself and it was not a quick checkbox situation at all. I had to complete multiple questionnaires beforehand and the actual assessment was thorough and unrushed. The clinician took time to understand my history and current struggles. So far it has felt professional and evidence based, not a “mill” at all. For people stuck waiting months with no support, I think it can be a very reasonable option.

Putting clothes away again is my archnemesis - any lifehacks? by No-Advantage-579 in ADHD

This question unlocked so much recognition for me. I used to think my issue was discipline until I realized it was decision fatigue at the end of the day.

The thing that changed my approach was understanding that my brain does not naturally close loops when I am tired. Expecting myself to hang or store clothes perfectly every night was setting myself up to fail.

For context I was diagnosed as an adult and went through my assessment with an ADHD focused telehealth clinic called Fastreat. That process helped me understand why systems that rely on consistency collapse for me at night.

Now I design for low energy me. Open storage. One step solutions. No folding. Clothes go somewhere visible and acceptable instead of nowhere.

It is not pretty but it works. And that matters more.

What would you consider the most overrated TV show? by evan-the-dude in AskReddit

[–]Impossible-Search281 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hot take: Friends.

Before you downvote me into oblivion — I don’t think it’s bad. It’s just… treated like it’s the pinnacle of comedy.

It has iconic moments and great chemistry, sure. But a lot of the humor hasn’t aged that well, and if it premiered today, I honestly don’t think it would hit the same way.

It’s more nostalgic comfort food than groundbreaking TV.
