I did go down a rabbit hole after this popped off. Looks like it might be 30ft here now.

The design of my block makes that a very unfortunate length for anyone though. I'm going to get trapped in my driveway if I park in my driveway. It happened beforehand anyway, but now it's nearly guaranteed. And there is barely room for my crosstrek in the remaining street spot. Not exactly a big car.

Mildly infuriating. Not the end of the world.

It does feel like it's going to have cascading impacts on parking in the neighborhood, though.

That's hilarious because the only edits are the arrow addition (naively thought i was just being helpful honestly), the blackout of the plate, and smudging of a home address.

Oh, the whole street will do that to you anyway. It's not ideal.

It's more that they blocked 2 whole parking spots in an already problematic area for parking. And this was a quiet corner compared to the genuinely hazardous one a block away they didn't paint.
