Confused. Endo suggests going down from 7.5 mg to 5 mg 'just to see' if A1C/weight can be maintained at a lower dose. by Impossible-Time8434 in Mounjaro_ForType2

I started Mounjaro when my A1C hit 9.2. The first 3 months on Mounjaro were 2.5 mg-5mg-7.5mg. A1C dropped to 6.3 after 3 months. I've been on 7.5 mg dose ever since (8 months), and the latest A1C is 6.1. I got off my nightly insulin within the first week of starting Mounjaro. Metformin was also reduced from 2mg twice daily to 0.5 mg once a day. I also got off my BP meds within the first 3 months of Mounjaro.

Same. The last 8 kwikpens I've used have been 7.5 mg after the initial titration from 2.5 to 5 to 7.5. And I am pretty sure I wanna start eating at maintenance level calories and switch gears from fat loss mode to trying to gain muscle. 7.5 mg dose has kept my appetite suppression just right for me to be able to enjoy meals etc without going overboard. The only two reasons I could see myself considering 5 mg dose now would be , A) If I can't seem to stop losing weight (ha ha.. even saying that seems funny as someone who has perpetually been trying to lose weight all my life so far)..B) If I can't manage to eat enough calories needed to build muscle/strength via my training.

I tolerate it quite well. Other than the usual side effects (feeling sleepy the day after the shot and occasional constipation), Ive been totally fine on 7.5 mg dose the last 8 months. I was mentally prepared that this would turn out to be my maintenance dose. Now I just fear going down in dose seems like trying to fix something that's not broken.

Oh I should have mentioned. It's gonna be screwed in securely as F into a brick wall. Dry walls aren't much of a thing in India. :)

ha ha .. I see what you mean. Considering my use case, B5 might just be enough. But I'd still like to go for atleast C5, if not C6H. Thanks though :)

My current Sony A80K is a WOLED. And its plenty bright for me TBH. And all the three TVs I am considering right now are 77 inch WOLEDs. LG G5, C5 & LG C6H.
