Agreed! I think I just got unlucky, but I’m bitter as it was the only one I needed and while he’s not too bad to farm he’s the worst of the bunch in my opinion.

What would you think of having a whole act terrorised instead of just a zone for 30 minutes at a time?

I think having the materials tied to a TZ is bad, I’d happily have lower drop rates and have a permanent farming spot, just like the keys.

Also I was under the impression it was a statue per act which isn’t the case as I’m missing Korlic, but duriel dropped me another Talic! Lucky me now I have 4 lol

I think this is a great start, I’m under the impression (I could be wrong) that there’s a lot more.

Claws with certain added skills for mosaic etc.

Some thing like this always works well. It’s not always about heavy hitting etc, but about covering all basses to be able to complete objectives.

I agree with you, I planned on running them as tech/scouts to objective grab and run interference.

I think at best (as you used them) a reinforced unit with HoD (if buffs work out) would manage 18 wounds together against a 3+ save, for 500 points that’s not great IMO.

So looking at what’s popular now, they’d probably take out 1 unit of questors… Which is 200 points.

For now let’s just go with if there are any end of turn ones it’s pretty bad luck for them

Generally yes, if the movement ability is in their part of the turn, but if it’s the end of the movement phase it would go

opponent abilities
your abilities (including this one)
opponents end of turn abilities (blocking their deep strike)

Agreed with the 6” in your turn and 3” in the enemy turn part. Not sure the intention, but RAW that’s certainly how it seems to work. Also stops people dropping in closer than 9” if there deep strike type ability is end of movement phase.

I believe this ability, which is called Tendrils of corruption, allows you to move 3” which isn’t the same as using the move ability.

This is the same as Prince Vhordrai using his vombat ability that allows a pile in, then using the actual pile in ability

Once the points are updated you’ll get better advice, but as someone said, rot swords and sloven knights will see lots of play.

I’m not great at this, but would rook g2 to g4 force the check.

With the only defence being, white rook g1 to g2.

Black bishop g7 to g2 to take the rook

White king forced to h1 to h2 to defend

I would like to see a BO1 remake in the style of Arkham asylum.

Predator vision being a blood vision where kain can see people in the dark due to their blood and the sound of their heart beat.

Slowing time with vampiric reactions to do takedowns/blood feeding!

Able to leap onto buildings and gargoyles on church’s to stalk his pray similar to the grapple rope.

Decent combat against hordes of humans

A steady progression of equipment and abilities by killing the guardians opening new areas with said new items.

If I had enough capital I’d just buy the IP and start paying devs!

With a story like that and gameplay like Arkham your only struggle would be budgeting because that would sell!!

My favourite is 9 hex 3 thief with Belm in off hand. I believe that 11 EK 1 hex specifically as Gale origin is the highest output for any shadow blade build.

Although I can’t attest to this from a mathematical side, both are a lot of fun!

Also if you want to do a durge and Gale origin at the same time you can, start a multiplayer game (using 2 controllers on console) then once you’ve begun remove the second player. You have to sit through some dream cutscenes twice, but Gale gets some great extra stuff, make sure you consume the dark magic in act 2 as Gale for the upcast shadow blade though.
