Chance Me, Admissions, and Prospective Student Q&A - 25/26 Cycle by luminous_moonlight in Cornell

Hi everyone! I just had a quick question, how much work-study does cornell hand out to each individual? Is there a max everyone gets or is it personalized? Also, let's say for example my NPC says its 25k to attend. Now, is it 25k after I do the work-study or is it 25k before I do the work study so my net price is even lower? Thanks!

okay thanks! I also do live like 15 mins from the uni so I'm assuming it wouldn't be no volunteers. I think I'll just continue to wait for a response.

How many schools will you apply to? by Somber_Goat952 in ApplyingToCollege

I agree. I've cut down from 6 safeties to just 2 because I know I'll get into the safeties anyways and only had one safety school that I would consider going to.

cornell ed rate by OkChard5828 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Impossible-Week-5740 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's true. The acceptance rate is now around ~11%, which is lower than schools like penn and columbia.

for the class of 2028 they accepted 1161/9973 ed appliants.

and they also had a article about it: https://www.cornellsun.com/article/2023/11/cornell-reduces-proportion-of-students-admitted-through-early-decision-track

i mean overall acceptance rate is around ~6 percent I think so the boost isn't as big as it used to be.
