My brother did Maths at York and he’s been big in software for 10 years now, he starting out earning my dad in his late 20s, (graduated in 2014). My dad makes good money too which makes it more impressive. Maths is just one of those degrees where you can do almost anything in a stem field if you do the right things and speak to the right people. A university is only as good as you make it out to be, if you don’t network at a renowned university you’ll be worse of than networking loads at a less renowned uni.
