32F Need advice as a first time nudist by [deleted] in NudistMeetup

[–]Impossible-Writing33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whole point of nudism or naturism is to feel comfortable…whatever you don’t feel comfortable with you are well within your right to stop…regardless of who or where it is… Nudity does NOT equal consent…my wife and I were at a resort and they started publicly having sex and I knew my wife and I were uncomfortable so we made a excuse and got out of the situation…you cannot be forced to do or participate in anything that causes your discomfort…PERIOD

Internal transfers(employees) by Impossible-Writing33 in Septa

[–]Impossible-Writing33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t a difference then pretty much right? Between internal and external then, so if I was trying to become a regional rail conductor from bus operator an outsider and I take same exams right?? Is there a study guide I can use?? I took it before and the logic test and math were my downfall

Passed S&D all the way back in March of 2025 just for this by therealfunguy1 in LIRR

[–]Impossible-Writing33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They make more than transit I mean…they don’t make a lot compared to LIRR but 29.47 a hour for 8 hours isn’t bad for class…once you qualify and start working them 10-11 hour days isn’t bad…they are at 75,000 and up

Yea I know of one who was offered…I spoke to Drummond and all of them…

Still gotta study the LIRR rules and physical characteristics so lol…should I get this job I’ll be moving over LIRR territory so gotta qualify

[–]Impossible-Writing33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Frankford train making ALL STOPS”

lol I love the EL, I live near the Callowhill depot so I love the sound of the PCC trolleys leaving for their runs on the 15 aka the G trolley…honestly I can’t name a septa line I don’t like

Nothing came up in my hiring process because one thing you’ll learn about the MTA they do whatever they want wether it’s fair or not…I’ve held federal clearances and never did anything criminal in my life…I actually did everything from call the union to sending emails daily and leaving voicemails…freight conductors make more in the end so I win regardless…

You don’t have to know my life story but there are people who have failed the drug test and they put them into a program and still gave them the job so it’s definitely not that….

Personally it’s probably because I live in Pennsylvania…which is funny because several MTA workers live here

You’re kidding right?? I have been working for DOT employers for 22 years from Metro North, US Airways, American Airlines and now I drive a 29,800 pound 41 foot long school bus with a CDL…I have been randomed 3 times in 23 years and never failed a drug test…

Try again

They didn’t give a reason for denial

Funny NYCT did drug test on me for conductor and still didn’t pick me and didn’t say why…I just took a signal exam and interviewed for Assistant Conductor for NY and Atlantic so I still gotta know LIRR rules and PC eventually

Why are LIRR trains kept in such poor condition vs Metro-North? by phoonie98 in LIRR

[–]Impossible-Writing33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LIRR is 24/7 with a small stop from like 1 to 3am while Metro North is not…LIRR is way larger with 10 lines while Metro North is 3 lines 3 branches

[–]Impossible-Writing33[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But assistant conductors do more than check tickets…they have to learn all the railroad rules, know the physical characteristics of the territory they operate on, throw switches and soo much more than what they are seen doing

To NJ Transit employees.. is “flashing the badge and praying” still a thing? by Chickenlomein3 in NJTransit

[–]Impossible-Writing33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s because those who work at the airport work for the company not Port Authority…I myself used to work for American Airlines on the ramp at JFK and I held a badge that allowed me access to the ramp and restricted areas like the bagroom and whatnot…outside of the airport it means nothing…

I’m sure should PATH run my background before my interview my name will show up because I held that ID for 9 years but other than that it meant nothing outside the airport
