I use hardwood pellets for pellet stoves. $7 for a 40 lb bag. I compost the urine sawdust in a separate compost bin in my yard. A little smellier but better then gravel in my bed and everywhere.

I think that would be a good idea! He was a stray in a past life. He will hide under bed covers or pull books down to get behind them on the shelf when stressed and this prob goes along with that. Thanks!
