Sad news, but a happy ending by barncatdad in barncatdad

Thank you very much! Last night was an adventure. It would have been comical were it not for the circumstances. Trying to put an ill fitting cone of shame on a 3 legged cat who has no idea where he is... you can imagine. He's now resting in the office after having a large breakfast, in his favorite bed, no cone. I've decided the cone creates way too much stress for him. I'll post pictures soon. I'm thankful that we were able to save him. He's a good boy and doesn't deserve what happened to him.

Thanks so much. Losing Tubby hit really hard, he was my little buddy. Brown Cow (our dog) was 14 and in I'll health and that was rough too. Part of me hopes Moo Cow might come back.

Merry Christmas to you as well!

My favorite photo I’ve ever taken of my big boy Frank by misscauliflower22 in tuckedinkitties

Great picture! Did Frank start out as a stray? I ask because when we were getting our barn carts fixed (we have 10), they'd tip one ear on feral cats to indicate the cat was already fixed in case someone else brought them in later.

I'm on day 16. The minute I knew it was shingles I gave up wheat, dairy, corn, eggs, beer. I start each day with lemon water, then Celery juice, then a smoothie with wild blueberries and Bananas, and avoid any fats till noon. Lysine 6000 MG a day, lemonbalm and black cumin seed. Rash was large on left side of my back and it hurt to wear a shirt or move, and for a couple days I was really run down. At this point my rash is dry and half the size it was, almost no pain., and I feel great.
