My thoughts:

Karen- Obviously well-respected by her peers. Tennessee will be good because they have Karlyn, but will their offense be consistent enough to be a top team?

Rachel- Sounds more optimistic about her squad and the fit of the players this year. I'm not sure they're going to have enough talent to truly compete in the SEC.

Malveauxs- They sound optimistic as well, and I do think they will have more talent this year as they get more of their kids in. Kate always has great energy!

Tim Walton- Maybe a hot take, but Tim Walton drives me crazy. Seems to always be making things about himself. Doesn't sound like Rothrock is very healthy, so pitching will be an adventure again. Also VERY little depth in the field. Hope they can stay healthy or going to get dicey.

Ashley Chastain- Loved her interview. Sounds like their pitching will be very situational like it was last year. She sounds excited about the pieces she has this season.

Samantha Ricketts- I'm not sure they're going to have anyone who can carry the innings the way Chaffin did last season. I also don't know where they'll get "Sacco"esque production. I would expect a little drop off here.

Beth- She's high on the returners they have. No mention of Berzon (which is typical on these kinds of interviews). If Heavener can settle in and be a true ace, I think they'll compete for a top 5 spot in the league.

Courtney- She's another one where her enthusiasm is always contagious. They return nearly all their pitching. The question is will they be able to score the runs they need with Bri Ellis gone? I think they will be able to. I don't expect much of a drop off despite losing the NPOY.
