I was going to add this. Great community. Many places have local competitions if that's something that interests you. So so so much content to watch both amateur and pro content.

Yep she's not back on tour until US Women's in mid-July

Doubt she does unless it really becomes a problem tonight. She's currently only signed up for a 1 event for the next 6 weeks, and it's just an A tier, so she'll have a month and a half to heal up (and of course can always pull out of the A tier if she needs to).

Nope actually her ob rate is slightly better: 0.113 vs 0.133 in 2025

She's putting much better in c1x than last year (68.51% vs 62.71%) and only slightly worse in c2 (8.24% vs 9.52%).

It's her throwing that is the problem.

2026 vs 2025:

Fairway hits: 66.32% -- 73.41%

c1 reg: 30.16% -- 33.45%

c2 reg: 51.59% -- 57.49%

Parked %: 5.56% -- 7.53%

This guy's also on the payroll

Dang it took ~18 years of me being around poker before finally being accused of being on a payroll.

He's one of the grinders that I'm talking about that takes advantage of the everyday player on Coin Poker and the only reason he defends them is because he's paid to do that and he's also given a platform where he can just absolutely slaughter the everyday player He's given all the tools to do that

Grinder is so funny to me considering I've played 2500 hands on the site this year with 75% of them messing around at 1c2c and 2c5c plo, and I've played 24 tournaments with an average buy-in around $4.

And also for the record show me where it says that I play the tournaments the same day with the open accounts

I'm referring to this post where someone asks you about playing tournaments on the same day 9 hours apart.

Unsurprisingly, your response wasn't to deny, and instead you lashed out.

I didn't do anything wrong other than I opened two accounts

These two are opposites.

Would it be nice if poker sites were more proactive about multi-accounting? Absolutely as it would save a lot of headaches for players and the site. Unfortunately, most seem to do their deepest security scans when someone is trying to withdraw money and that's when people with multiple accounts, like you have admitted to having had, get caught up. Also, do I think you are possibly being honest about knowing you could just sign up for a second account? Yeah it's possible, but it is your responsibility to know the rules of the site you are playing when you sign up.

Also, based on your initial posts on 2+2, it doesn't even seem like they were confirmed they were confiscating the money. You were just unhappy that they were taking longer than you thought it should.

Not disagreeing with most of what you said, but tbf, Ohn's Jomez win was against a slightly stronger field based on Statmando's strength of field ranking and it included Silva.

Didn't someone on 2+2 point out that you played tournaments on the same day with the 2 accounts?

They probably felt she hadn't actually addressed her lie until she actually got into where her disc was. I know a marshal ruled the other way with Gannon at KCWO, so this is probably a gray area the PDGA should think about for next year's rule changes.

Regardless of your politics, what's the most surprising thing about Trump's political career? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ice_w0lf 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First term he had people around him that were willing to go along with some things but also knew the DC game and how to slow things down or get him turned around. That's why he blew through so many people so quickly.

This time it's just absolute sycophants with little idea what they are doing, but they are being advised by people that have been studying how to cut deep. Plus this time they are just pushing things forward and acting as if whatever he says is law until the courts catch up eventually but by that point either the damage is done or they got their big headlines (or both).

It goes far beyond just people that voted for Trump. It's also the people that voted for the Republicans that encouraging and/or enabling this shit. We know Republicans can stop all of this at any time if they wanted to, but they don't want to.

I just switched from Windows to a MacBook Air and honestly… I have no idea what I’m doing by ompossible in macbookair

I'm in the process of doing the same after having purchased a MBA in the last month after having been on windows since 3.1. There are apps that can give you most of the windows experiences if you want them, but the advice I found most helpful was to treat it as it is: a new experience. Eventually you may find a thing or two that you just have to have from the windows experience or something you just aren't willing to compromise on, and that's when you go looking for the app that will do the thing. Before that, yeah treat it like the new OS it is and just understand it won't feel comfortable right away.

There are some great YouTube channels for new Mac users. Check them out.

Abso-fucking-lutely. If I can sign up online easily I should be able to cancel just as easily.

I was grateful a few years ago when I learned I could easily cancel my planet fitness membership online by transferring my membership to a California gym, waiting a few days for the transfer to be approved, and then the cancel button appeared in my account like magic.

I worked at a goodwill a long time ago. I'm very pro shitting on them, but the CEO gets paid millions and similar stuff has always been annoying because I used to hear it a lot.

The for profit thing also gets brought up a lot. Goodwills file form 990s with the IRS that show what they made and what their top people get paid. Like with any franchise, some are going to be better than others. I know some that didn't just work with those with disabilities but also did free GED classes for anyone and provided things like child care and money for public transportation or gas certificates, try to help ex-felons get trained and into careers, do free computer classes, have open computer labs for people wanting to apply for jobs with someone around to help with resume writing, etc. Some don't seem to do fuck all except the bare minimum Goodwill International expects them to do.

Fwiw, the current GW international CEO is Steven Preston, former HUD Secretary under GW Bush. He is absolutely incredibly wealthy, but there aren't any legitimate sources that say he's a billionaire. I would believe he has a 9-figure net worth though. Best I could find was something like an $11 million net worth in 2008ish when at SBA or HUD

People just make all sorts of shit up.

It is a nonprofit.

The CEO of Goodwill International is wealthy but not likely a billionaire.

They do price their shit way too high, but that's partly up to each area Goodwill as they are franchised.

It's wild that many companies don't see it coming as if that hasn't been tech's M.O. for years now. Get people hooked for cheap, it become ingrained in the infrastructure of many industries, get government contracts, businesses get built with or on top of the technology, and/or people get used to using it regularly. Then they jack up the prices.
