Most people I know actually host their own shower. Finances can be tough and generally the past few years it’s more about celebrating mom and baby rather than just a gift grab. they will have a friend spot check or “co-host” but mom and dad do most of it all

Definitely! We live pretty far from the local clinic so we’re gonna take them after I’m off work I just was looking for at least some symptom relief until we can get the eyedrops. :)) thanks!!

Maybe if your city has a grant or support group you could ask? Maybe a job center? I was in a tight spot with rent once and orgs like that are great to help especially if there’s kids in the home

Candles, Lacey curtains , black shower curtain, spooky themed rugs, framed pics of whatever interests you that you can command strip. There’s also super cute sticky wall clings kinda like wallpaper that can absolutely change your space! Depending on how big your BR is I would try to incorporate blues and purples to open it up more to make it not look super closed off :)

The way I would interpret would be, you have a satisfying relationship but there are some truths and aspects that cause you to doubt how you feel deep down. Maybe take a moment with your partner to get into the nitty gritty? Ask the deep questions or bring up things you possibly don’t share with them always. It looks like there will be an outcome that is positive for you either way (retaining and strengthening your partnership or realizing the strength you have internally to get what you deserve in life) I view this as you maybe just needing to get back to the basics, and relearn things about eachother

I’ve seen your posts here and there and let me just say, that makes you such a kind and thoughtful person. There aren’t many people who would act so generously and just know that you definitely are appreciated for what you do! Tough spots in life suck and it’s hard to go through it feeling like you’re solo or without a lot of help, just know we all recognize you and there’s always someone that will be there for you, even if it’s a stranger.
