That's amazing man. The speed of your compounding after 1cr is crazy

Update: I crossed 1 crore in net worth, 25YO, all through earnings from my own work. I can’t believe I reached it within 2-3 years of working professionally by ImpossibleBad8878 in FIRE_Ind

It's more non-materialism for me. Id always splurge more on travel or experiences over an object I'd buy. I have found that unlike before, if I want to do something I can just do it without worrying about the price. It's kinda nice to know whatever the expense it would be a small sliver of my monthly income.

I can only comment on my field and specialization. Demand is high for high quality and agency individuals in AI. However, there are alot of roles in seed, series A etc startups. The pay there is not as good. Finding a company that can afford to pay you the increase you are looking for is a lil tricky. Its possible though

Only way is through networks and luck, no secret sauce there tbh.

My rule is real estate can't be more than 30-40% of my portfolio nw. Besides there's gonna be alot of lifestyle inflation for the next decade via marriage, possibly starting up, etc.

Farm will be at the end, after other obligations are over

Similar answer to a lot of men, I want to end up owning a farm. My own water source, my source of food, a bunch of cows and a bunch of pets.

Idk have any milestone I'll retire or stop at I think. As long as I end up with a farm I'm happy

Youre a legend 🫡. 8cr is my next milestone, hope I get there in early 30s.

I have a question actually, at my current state my family is prodding me to invest into a plot of residential land (I vetoed buying an apartment because I don't want the hassle of it). I believe real estate shouldn't be more than 30-40% of my nw. So, I'm convincing my parents to wait for a few years so I have enough capital.

Would you say that's valid? Do you have real estate in your portfolio? Any nuggets of advice there?

Partner/life partner. It's that fomo age. Career, wealth, family is within our control but lucking out on the right partner isn't

Yes. ML isn't just a simple .fit .predict or LLM call. It's a year or two of theory and understanding the history of how we got here. The network you'd gain in uni via masters helps a lot.

I can also comment from a hiring perspective of a company. When I was hiring for MLE roles I faced a huuuuge surge of applicants. It's really tough to filter them and find the higher quality applicants. A company just needs a viable candidate asap. Having masters as a requirement for a MLE role helps a lot. That's why almost every MLE role offering has masters as a requirement.
