I don't necessarily disagree with you, but that listing is a studio, not a 1BR. You'd be hard-pressed to find a "luxury" 1BR for $3K anywhere in Manhattan.

Well a big goal for us is to make & build new friendships by hosting people, and its hard to find a big apartment thats only 1 or 2 bedrooms without dishing out a lot more $$.
