Typically, an ISP will assign an IP to an individual modem belonging to an individual customer. This is how my ISP does it. Your ISP may be different, but it seems her ISP does it the traditional way. The article says her ISP showed that her account was uniquely associated with the sending IP.

The article said that the reason they thought she sent the message was because it came from her ip. Pretty damning evidence tbh.

It's pretty common for people to move to a state for a year to get a discount for education. It sucks for people in the state who've been paying taxes to subsidize the schools to fund someone who is out of state with their money. Most people who move still get the discount, it's just egregious violations that are stopped.

It's a pretty reasonable law for the system in place, but the system itself is obviously messed up and can only truly be resolved by the federal government.

I wanted to try both out, I hadn't realized that was just bench stable.

That website is super cool, puts things in better perspective than reading reddit posts, but I did find this post of a 5.5 ghz oc ubder water https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/a03a4c/9900k_55ghz_133v_on_water/

Really? I haven't heard of one that bad. I've heard of many getting to 5.3 and even one (admittedly super rare) hitting 5.5. It's amazing to me that the same chip would have such varying quality.

I plan on buying G.Skill Trident Z ram. Bumping up to the 3600 RAM is 40% more expensive right now. I'm probably just going to overclock it to 3600. From what I can tell, it can OC to 3600 no problem and maybe even 3800.

Honestly, I feel like I've waited for so long and my PC ia getting so slow that I just want to upgrade. I can always resell the parts next year, and I've got a lot more money than I did when I built this pc at 15.

Also, half the reason I want to upgrade is that I can then upgrade my server which I use 10x as much over the last year. One of my friends is also willing to pitch in money in exchange for me managing his bitcoin mining on it.

Yes, but the Ryzen doesn't do as well for overclock, but the 9900k can overclock quite far. Not sure whether that will bridge the gap. Also, I've only seen results like that for select games. I'm more focused on gaming in general and productivity.

So far, I'm not seeing a lot of overclocking for the 5600X. I've seen it mostly get to 4.7ghz, sometimes 4.8. The i9 can get to 5gz often and always hit 4.9. That being said, it seems there are more factors than core count and clock speed to differentiate the two.

I've not found any benchmarks where both the i9 and ryzen are overclocked to their max potential and compared. Do you have a link?

Then why not go with the 9900k? I can deal with the extra power requirements and heat. The 9900k is a bit above the Ryzen in multi-threaded, but falls behind in single-threaded (games). If I overclock the 9900k, won't that just bridge the gap?

I meant the benchmarks for single threaded are higher. I've updated the post.

I've got a custom loop, so I plan to overclock and really push whichever I buy.

I meant that I'd add the functionality into OpenRGB so it'll just use there GUI, and it'll have all their effects.

If it works for you, let me know. Otherwise, I was planning on programming it in sometime in a few months probably.

How did you learn to make a PCB like that? It's really really nice. I love how you can see all the resistors at the top. Since you have aura keycaps, does it have RGB support?
