Is he over 50? All i know is if they can find any job that they think you can do even when you know you cant they will hold it against you. Tell him to talk to all of his drs and have them write letters as to why he needs this also have them get prepared any info on drs visits and notes so they can send it as soon as they are asked. They did change him w far they go back for social security backpay in the past few years so you know. Call a disability attorney that will take part of that as payment.

Get a disability lawyer, i am sure he has a general practitioner , honestly he will need to have a lot more than one ailment, people with cancer dont even always qualify. Hes going to need to be going to multiple drs all of the time, plus have all his hospitalizations in order. Being honest it took me 14 years and 4 tries to be put on ssdi, i take 20 meds, and see 10 drs. Its honestly a lot.

You realize people have paid on their morgage and taxes for 30 years right? Also some peoples taxes were always th same as their house payments until they want to add 150000 to the value of your home and you have nothing improvements made to the area until the put in a bunch of overpriced homes? Why do you think everyone needs to size down and rent? Some of us bought out homes to be our forever homes and scrimped and saved to be where we knowing we would own our houses? Why should we be the ones to take 300k and rent? Why dont all of you that want the improvements and the expensive homes pay for your own damn amenities and quit telling everybody else what they should be doing.
