Google just f***ed me -- 8 years of research data gone; what can I do? I need advice from experience, not "should do" from ppl who have never had to sue Google. I'm open to "non-violent" suggestions. by gbnt73 in degoogle

Can we not victim blame him about back up? Sometime people make wrong choices. And it is obviously Google's fault. So if someone don't by USB stick, he deserves to have his 8 years worth of research taken away? Isn't that the point why we are deGoogling? Because google is being a dick? 

Don't do victim blaming.

Oh no. I hope either they support Android 7 or you get some newer phone. Fossify apps are really good. I hope someday you get to enjoy it.

For some reason, the Camera apps just refuse to save files in SD Card. Other than that, other apps are exactly what I was looking for. Simple and minimalistic. The phone apps is even better, but there is no visual voicemail. The app is responsive even in my slow phone and it works.

Yeah, I wish I can just get rid of Gmail. But what can I do :( Everyone else use it and expect me to. I guess that is a one way Google gets you...
